About phone consultations:

Amadea does scheduled appointments by phone. These are nutrition education appointments, usually one hour in length, that focus on helping you create food and health care plans that work for your specific needs. These can be changed as your life and condition changes, with follow up phone or email appointments. Short questions can also be answered at no cost in follow up emails. While Amadea has a strong background in Ayurveda, she is also able to answer questions and create nourishment programs without referring to this system, if this is your preference.

An initial appointment lasts one hour, and focuses on ascertaining your constitution, your current condition, and food and lifestyle choices for optimal health. Prior to the appointment, you need to:

1) write down everything you eat and drink for three days, preferably with compassion and humor (no need to get on yourself, whatever you’re doing) and send this, along with
2) your health/medical history
3) copies of current lab work if you have them (optional)
4) a list of what you are currently taking with doses, including vitamins & minerals, medicinal herbs, Western medication
5) questions and issues you want to make sure we cover together

These can be sent by email to Amadea at sfmorningstar@earthlink.net, or mailed to: Amadea Morningstar, 7 Avenida Vista Grande #186, Santa Fe, NM 87508. Initial assessments are $120/hour. Follow up sessions are $100 /hour. Sessions can be purchased at http://www.ayurvedapolarityyoga.com using PayPal (you don't need to be a PayPal member to use your credit card to pay there). Just follow the link for the Online Store. Payment needs to be received by the day of your appointment.

Often it’s easiest to set up your phone consult by email; you can let me know your basic aim or intention at that time. I may ask you a little bit about your situation, to be sure that I can be useful to you. Phone consults can also be made by calling, (505) 466-4108. This is the same number you will call at your scheduled appointment time.
